Race Track Business Conference – 2013 Concludes Successful Event<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daylong Event at PRI Trade Show Featured Top Decision Makers from All Segments of the Motorsports Industry<\/p>\n

\"image218<\/a>A full day of topical and engaging sessions highlighted the Race Track Business Conference appearance at the 26th annual<\/p>\n

Performance Racing Industry Trade Show at the Indiana Convention Center.<\/p>\n

Speakers and attendees from across the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom gathered to discuss issues facing industry professionals today.<\/p>\n

Expert panelists debated topics on event management, track safety, legal and risk management, sanctioning bodies, museums, industry associations, track operations, and video and broadcasting. Speakers included influential leaders such as Joie Chitwood \u2013 Daytona\u00a0International Speedway, Doug Boles \u2013 Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Randy LaJoie \u2013 The Joie of Seating, Tom Deery \u2013 World\u00a0Racing Group, and Ralph Sheheen \u2013 Turn 3 Media.<\/p>\n

Luncheon insights were presented by Mark Miles \u2013 CEO \u2013 Hulman & Company. He highlighted the initiatives that IndyCar and the \u00a0Brickyard are undertaking to improve the product on the track and spectator engagement at the races.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cWe are very excited about RTBC-2013. Presenting relevant topics, creating interactive dialogue with an informed community is the
\ngoal of this event.\u201d said Tim Frost, publisher of National Speedway Directory, which is presented RTBC-2013. \u201cThanks to everyone who made this conference happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe inaugural event went well and we are pleased with large increase in participation at RTBC \u2013 2013. The opportunity to gather at\u00a0events like RTBC and the PRI Show is important to the development of race track operators.\u201d said John Kilroy \u2013 Vice President – General Manager \u2013 of Performance Racing Industry.<\/p>\n

Indianapolis Motor Speedway received the \u201cOutstanding Facility of the Year\u201d award presented by National Speedway Directory and\u00a0Track Guide. The Project 100 capital improvement plan will feature fan-focused experiences and entertainment options solidifying the IMS\u2019s position as an iconic sports and entertainment venue.<\/p>\n

A donation was made to Victory Junction on behalf of the speakers and attendees to support their charitable efforts.<\/p>\n

There are preliminary plans for RTBC \u2013 2014 to be held on Wednesday December 10, 2014. This will be just prior and in conjunction with the 2014 PRI Show, which runs from Thursday, December 11, to Saturday, December 13, 2014, in Indianapolis, Indiana.<\/p>\n
